Located in the urban area of Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, Shojinkai Morita Clinic operated by the Medical Corporation Shojinkai is a community-based clinic specializing in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Cardiology. Clinic Director Dr. Kiyoshi Morita graduated from Akita University School of Medicine, obtained his Ph.D. from the graduate school, and is affiliated with multiple academic societies including the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, the Japanese Society of Nephrology, and the Japanese Association for Infectious Diseases. In addition to holding numerous qualifications such as a Board Certified Internist, Infection Control Doctor (ICD), and Comprehensive Health Checkup Specialist, he has also served as President of the Kesennuma Medical Association and President of the Miyagi Prefecture Care Manager Association, and is known as a physician at the core of regional healthcare and caregiving. The clinic provides an extensive range of examinations, not limited to general internal medicine, including gastroscopy, various ultrasound examinations, CAVI (arteriosclerosis) testing, bone density measurement, and central blood pressure measurement. It also offers sublingual immunotherapy (Japanese cedar pollen and dust mite allergens), home testing for sleep apnea syndrome, health checkups, smoking cessation clinics, and various vaccinations, meeting a wide range of medical needs. The clinic can provide multilingual support in English and Chinese, and is equipped with a parking lot and barrier-free facilities, taking into consideration the convenience of the clinic environment.
