Located in Makiyamacho, Kochi City, Tamura Clinic Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine specializes in gastrointestinal diseases and general internal medicine, providing early detection and treatment through gastroscopy and colonoscopy. The clinic offers painless endoscopic examinations using the latest magnifying electronic scopes, and the introduction of carbon dioxide gas during colonoscopy has been well received for eliminating abdominal bloating after the procedure. The practice is focused on internal medicine, and in September 2020, it was the first clinic in Kochi Prefecture to introduce the latest Olympus endoscope system (EVIS X1). On Wednesdays and Thursdays, Dr. Eri Tamura from Kochi University Medical School also provides medical care alongside the director. Morning consultations are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, while examinations are by appointment, and afternoon sessions are entirely appointment-based for both examinations and consultations. Wednesdays are reserved for gastroscopy appointment patients only, and the clinic is closed in the afternoon. Parking is available, and the facility is barrier-free.
