Located a 1-minute walk from the Nakayama Station North Exit bus rotary on the 5th floor of the Miyoshiz Seed Building, Nakayamakitaguchi Eye Clinic opened in September 2002 as a specialized ophthalmology facility. The clinic offers barrier-free access with an elevator in the building, accommodating patients using wheelchairs and strollers. Specializing in general ophthalmology and pediatric ophthalmology, the clinic treats adult conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration, as well as pediatric conditions including strabismus, amblyopia, color vision deficiency, and psychogenic visual impairment. Prescription eyewear and contact lenses are also available. Equipment includes 3D retinal imaging (OCT) and automated perimeter. The clinic is a designated Workers' Accident Compensation Insurance medical facility and offers treatment by designated doctors for intractable diseases. English language services are provided, and the clinic collaborates with multiple affiliated hospitals including Showa University Northern Yokohama Hospital and Yokohama Rosai Hospital. Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays morning only.
