Kanagawa Cancer Center is a specialized cancer medical institution located in Naka-o, Asahi Ward, Yokohama City, operating on a referral-only appointment system. The center provides services in English, Korean, and other languages, and accepts credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments. A dedicated free shuttle bus operates from the North Exit of Futamatagawa Station on the Sagami Railway, and multiple bus routes are also accessible. The center is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays. A Cancer Consultation and Support Center is established within the facility, providing consultation windows to support patients and their families. Measures against hospital infections are implemented by the Medical Safety Promotion Office and Infection Control Office, nursing care is provided by the Nursing Department, and research activities are conducted by the Clinical Research Institute. Efforts continue to provide information and learning support, including publicizing waiting periods for examinations and treatments, updating the list of opt-out research, holding public lectures and nutrition cooking classes for patients, and conducting appearance care seminars. Initiatives regarding patient rights and informed consent are also implemented.
