The Central Health Counseling Center of the Kanagawa Prefectural Tuberculosis Prevention Association Foundation is an internal medicine clinic located in Minami-ku, Yokohama that provides services in English. The center conducts mobile health checkups at welfare facilities and schools, and has introduced lift-equipped digital chest X-ray mobile examination vehicles to contribute to community health promotion. Regarding examinations, the center has introduced 3D mammography, which uses softer compression than conventional equipment to reduce pain. Clinical breast examinations were discontinued in principle from April 2024, and gastric endoscopy operations were terminated at the end of February 2025. Note that individuals wearing insulin pumps or continuous glucose monitors cannot undergo chest X-ray, gastric X-ray, mammography, CT, or bone density examinations. 3D mammography is performed in combination with 2D examinations and requires an additional fee of 3,300 yen.
