Located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Yokohama City Health and Welfare Comprehensive Center in Sakuragicho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, this center provides initial emergency medical care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Consultations are held daily from 8:00 PM to midnight, primarily handling emergency treatments focused on internal medicine. Specializing in outpatient care for initial emergency cases, prescriptions are generally limited to a one-day supply. As they do not respond to injuries, burns, fractures, and other trauma, patients are advised to visit surgical or orthopedic departments. Phone appointments are not accepted, and visitors are required to bring their My Number insurance card, eligibility confirmation documents, various medical certificates, and a medication notebook. English language support is available for consultations, and they accept credit cards and electronic payments. The center provides parking and barrier-free accessibility. Operated by the Yokohama Medical Association as a designated administrator, this medical facility serves the critical role of providing initial response for nighttime medical emergencies.
