Located a 5-minute walk from the west exit of Yokohama Station, Yokohama Sotetsu Building Eye Clinic is a specialized ophthalmology facility equipped with English-language support and barrier-free accessibility. The clinic treats patients like family, recommending treatments that physicians would choose for themselves, and maintains a welcoming environment. They accept many emergency patients, and they do not operate on a fully appointment-only system in order to accommodate such patients. The operating room has been converted to a 100% internal air circulation system and is equipped with air purifiers, making it a bio-clean room. Following the closure of the adjacent internal medicine clinic in December 2020, the ophthalmology clinic took over that space, eliminating concerns about infections. They are closed on Thursdays, Sundays, holidays, Obon holidays, and year-end/New Year holidays. Initial consultations can be received without an appointment, except for cases where specific tests are desired.
