Koh Internal Medicine Clinic, located in front of Mukogaoka-Yuen Station on the Odakyu Line, specializes in internal medicine, with a focus on cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, and lifestyle-related diseases. The director, who studied at medical institutions in the United States, worked at the Department of Cardiology at Inada-Noborito Hospital for over 17 years before opening the clinic in 2006. The director holds certifications as a cardiologist certified by the Japanese Circulation Society, a certified internist certified by the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, and a comprehensive internal medicine specialist, and has been involved in the treatment of hypertension, heart diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases such as asthma, and lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes and hyperlipidemia. From April, Dr. Hideo Tokuyama will be in charge of examinations on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, holding certifications as a cardiologist certified by the Japanese Circulation Society and a comprehensive internal medicine specialist certified by the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, as well as a cardiovascular catheter treatment specialist and TAVR practitioner/instructor. The clinic also has a fever clinic, available from 12:20 PM Monday through Friday. It treats general internal medicine patients and emphasizes cooperation with nearby municipal hospitals and university hospitals. The clinic has parking, is barrier-free, and provides English services.
