Kou Internal Medicine and Diabetes Clinic is located in the Miyamae area of Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, operating as an internal medicine clinic with treatment rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the MK Building. The clinic, specializing in internal medicine, focuses primarily on diabetes care, and the director holds certification as a provisional Clinical Training Instructor in Endocrinology and Diabetes from the Japan Medical Specialty Board. Given that many diabetes patients with weakened immunity visit the clinic, continuous infection prevention measures are implemented, and mask wearing may be requested when necessary. In terms of the medical system, the clinic regularly accepts initial clinical trainees as a cooperative clinical training facility for Hiratsuka City Hospital. For patients on regular visits, telephone consultations are available for cold symptoms, fever, severe fatigue, or breathing difficulties. Payment can be made via credit cards or electronic payment, and the facility is barrier-free. The clinic is closed on Wednesdays, Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and Obon holidays.
