Nikaido Orthopedic Surgery Clinic, located in Hamamihira, Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, opened in 2017 as an orthopedic surgery clinic equipped with MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), ultrasound echography, DEXA bone densitometer, and other diagnostic equipment to provide accurate diagnosis and evidence-based treatment. In addition to general orthopedic conditions, the clinic offers specialized care for sports injuries, spinal disorders, and joint replacement surgery, and in 2023, with the introduction of the latest MRI, established a neurosurgery outpatient department and MRI screening center. Using a PHILIPS AI-equipped 1.5T MRI, high-precision MRI screenings including comprehensive cancer screening and brain screening are performed, while neurosurgery services focus on early detection and treatment for symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, numbness in limbs, and movement disorders. In musculoskeletal rehabilitation, seven physical therapists collaborate with attending physicians to address not only post-traumatic and post-surgical functional recovery but also degenerative conditions, chronic pain, and sports injury prevention. The Medical Consultation Department provides interview support and explanations of medical systems by social workers, and the clinic is well-equipped with English language support, parking for 292 vehicles (free for 3 hours), and barrier-free accessibility.
