Shiohata Family Clinic is an internal medicine clinic located on the 3rd floor of the MONAKA Building on Nakanohashidori Street in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. Regarding influenza vaccinations, in addition to conventional inactivated vaccines (injections), the clinic also offers the nasal live attenuated influenza vaccine "FluMist" for children aged 2 to 18. After carefully explaining the characteristics and precautions of each vaccine, information is provided to enable patients to make choices based on their circumstances. Additionally, the clinic has published its own guidelines on decision-making support, clearly demonstrating its commitment to providing medical care through a multidisciplinary team led by physicians, while respecting each patient's values and way of life. The clinic's characteristic is its aim to provide comprehensive care centered on the patient's wishes not only in outpatient care but also in home treatment and the final stages of life. The facility is barrier-free and equipped with a parking lot, creating an environment where various patients can easily visit. The clinic is closed on Sundays and holidays, as well as year-end and New Year holidays (December 30 to January 3) and the Obon period (August 13 to 16).
