Kato Kodomo Clinic, located in Yamame, Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, is a pediatric clinic that opened in 2002. Providing a wide range of services including general consultations, vaccinations, infant health checkups, and child-rearing consultations, the clinic primarily serves children from 0 to 15 years old. At the first visit, the clinic carefully reviews the patient's birth history, medical history, family history, and vaccination history. Each subsequent visit involves a nurse conducting an initial assessment to carefully track the child's progress. With the motto 'For the smiles of children,' the clinic strives to select the best examination and treatment options for each child. Clinic Director Dr. Ayako Sendate is a board-certified pediatrician and instructor certified by the Japan Pediatric Society, as well as a specialist in pediatric neurology certified by the Japanese Society of Child Neurology. She has experience working at university hospitals and emergency hospitals in Kitakyushu City. In addition to offering services in English, the clinic features barrier-free facilities and provides a total of 13 parking spaces. Appointments are generally required, with reservation acceptance starting at 6:00 AM on the day of the visit. Morning consultations are available from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, while vaccinations, health checkups, and afternoon consultations are available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The clinic is closed on Sundays and holidays.
