Nakazawa Clinic, located in Shibugaoka, Tsukubamirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture, is a community-based clinic specializing in internal medicine, surgery, and gastroenterology. Dr. Satoru Nakazawa, the clinic director, holds a PhD in Medicine and is a board-certified surgeon and certified industrial physician by the Japan Medical Association. Following his experience at Tokyo Women's Medical University, he practices the medical philosophy of providing "clear, rapid, and accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatments." The clinic offers a wide range of services, from internal medicine conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, heart disease, and stroke, to surgical procedures including suturing and burn treatment, as well as gastrointestinal disorders affecting the stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. The clinic is well-equipped with comprehensive diagnostic facilities, including both transnasal and transoral gastrointestinal endoscopy, colonoscopy, abdominal echocardiography and carotid artery ultrasound examinations, digital X-ray, and CT scans for the head, lungs, abdomen, and skeletal system. Even after the reclassification of COVID-19 under the Infectious Diseases Act, the clinic continues to operate a fever clinic, accepting patients with symptoms such as fever, cough, and fatigue. In addition to offering English-language medical services, the clinic provides on-site parking and barrier-free facilities, creating an accessible environment for diverse patients. Clinic hours are Monday through Saturday, with Sunday and holidays closed.
