Located on the 4th floor of the Tsukuba Clinic Center Building in central Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Tsukuba Child Mind Clinic is one of the few clinics in Japan specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders (developmental disorders). The clinic primarily diagnoses and treats ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), serving a wide age range from children aged 6 and above to adults. In addition to regular examinations, the clinic provides psychological therapies including music therapy, sandplay therapy, and art therapy, as well as developmental assessments such as IQ testing (WISC・WAIS). The clinic also regularly offers group programs for anger management and SST (Social Skills Training), along with multiple parent training courses for guardians, establishing a comprehensive support system for both patients and their families. With a philosophy of four-sector collaboration among medical, educational, and public health and welfare services, the clinic actively coordinates with preschools and schools. All consultations are by appointment, and the clinic can communicate in multiple languages including English. Credit cards and electronic payments are accepted, and parking is available.
