About

Located in Amekubo, Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, AIC Imaging Diagnostic Center is a clinic specializing in diagnostic imaging, operated by the medical corporation Toyochikai. We provide specialized imaging examinations including MRI, with a comprehensive system to accommodate a wide range of patients, including those referred from other medical facilities. The clinic has introduced an online reservation system, accepting bookings 24 hours a day via the internet. We are actively promoting medical digital transformation (DX), aiming to provide high-quality healthcare through the acquisition and utilization of medical information. Since September 2023, we have implemented an online eligibility verification system using My Number cards, improving the convenience of patient registration procedures. Additionally, we operate a free and low-cost medical care program for individuals who have difficulty accessing appropriate medical care due to economic reasons, ensuring acceptance of diverse patient groups. We provide English-speaking services and accept credit cards and electronic payments, offering various payment options. The facility is equipped with parking and is barrier-free, ensuring that individuals requiring physical assistance can use our services with peace of mind. The clinic is closed on Sundays, national holidays, and during the year-end and New Year holidays.

From Tsukuba Center: Take a bus from Platform 6 at Tsukuba Center Bus Terminal, 5–10 minutes. Destination: bound for "Tsukuba Daigaku Junkan (Clockwise)" or "Tsukuba Daigaku Chuo". Get off at "Tsukuba Daigaku Byoin Iriguchi". If using Tsukuba Express (TX): From Tsukuba Station (terminal), exit from Exit A3 to street level, then take a bus from Platform 6 at Tsukuba Center Bus Terminal, 5–10 minutes. Destination: bound for "Tsukuba Daigaku Junkan (Clockwise)" or "Tsukuba Daigaku Chuo". Get off at "Tsukuba Daigaku Byoin Iriguchi".
