Located in Kamayokaba, Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Komatsu Internal Medicine Clinic has been providing community-rooted medical care since opening in 1996. Clinic Director Dr. Yoshinari Komatsu graduated from the University of Tsukuba School of Medicine and honed his expertise as a neurologist at the University of Tsukuba Hospital and Hitachi General Hospital. He holds qualifications including Japan Neurology Society Certified Neurologist and Japan Society of Internal Medicine Certified Internist. In 2025, Deputy Director Dr. Yoshiki Komatsu, specializing in gastroenterology, joined the clinic. Centered on endoscopic examinations such as gastroscopy and colonoscopy, the clinic also treats difficult digestive conditions including Helicobacter pylori treatment, colorectal polyp removal, and Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The clinic is equipped with CT, ultrasound, and endoscopy systems, providing a wide range of care from lifestyle diseases like hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia to detailed examination of digestive diseases. For patients with fever, a drive-through examination system is available, enabling rapid testing for influenza and coronavirus. Communication in English is possible, and free parking (15 spaces) is provided. For those using public transportation, the clinic is approximately a 12-minute drive from Tsukuba Express "Midori Station."
