Located in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, University of Tsukuba Hospital has served as a specialized medical center supporting advanced healthcare in Ibaraki Prefecture since its opening in 1976. As the affiliated hospital of the University of Tsukuba, one of ten designated national universities in Japan, the hospital combines advanced medical technology with medical education and research. It is designated as Ibaraki Prefecture's sole Advanced Critical Care and Emergency Medical Center and Disaster Base Hospital, playing a central role in the regional medical network.
