Located in Tokai Village, Naka District, Ibaraki Prefecture, Murayama Tokai Hospital is a public hospital established by Tokai Village and operated by the Japan Community Health Care Organization as the designated administrator. Opened in May 2006, the hospital has 80 beds and offers a wide range of medical departments including internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, gynecology, otolaryngology, and rehabilitation. Equipped with medical facilities such as CT, MRI, and operating rooms, the hospital provides acute care as its foundation while aiming to complete treatment throughout the region through collaboration with neighboring clinics and other medical institutions. The hospital's basic philosophy is 'to maintain medical ethics, provide safe and high-quality medical care, and contribute to the local community as a family hospital,' practicing medical care based on informed consent that respects patients' right to self-determination. Reception hours are from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM (Wednesday afternoons are for emergency cases only).
