Located in Toride City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Tokiwa Clinic has served the community's internal medicine needs for over 40 years since its establishment in 1981. Designated as an affiliated hospital of JA Toride Medical Center in 1999, the clinic offers general internal medicine services alongside hemodialysis as a specialty. With a two-shift system featuring daytime dialysis (9 AM to 2 PM) and evening dialysis (3:30 PM to 10 PM), the clinic provides dialysis treatment tailored to patients' lifestyles and physical conditions. The dialysis department is staffed by physicians with nephrology and dialysis specialist qualifications, and a dedicated team of 18 nurses and 12 clinical engineers ensures high-quality dialysis care. Medical Director Dr. Toshiki Fujii graduated from Kanazawa University School of Medicine, and Honorary Director Dr. Kikuro Ohno, who served as a professor emeritus at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, completes the well-qualified medical team. The clinic operates a completely appointment-based fever clinic to handle fever and cold symptoms, with thorough measures in place to prevent hospital-acquired infections. The clinic offers English-language support and is equipped with barrier-free facilities and a parking lot, creating an accessible environment for diverse patients.
