Located at Nagatsuka in Shimotsuma City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Matsuda Children's Clinic is a pediatric clinic deeply rooted in the local community. Since relocating to its current location in April 2011, the clinic has been designed throughout to meet the latest medical needs. The building features a seismic structure designed for large-scale disasters, with solid construction starting from ground improvement. Environmental considerations are evident in the adoption of all-electric systems, solar power generation, and heat storage floor heating. Infection control measures include isolation rooms and a parking lot waiting system to reduce infection risks. The clinic maintains a reception system aligned with new ambulance transport standards, ensuring comprehensive emergency preparedness. A seminar room is also established for regional pediatric healthcare collaboration, strengthening cooperation with medical institutions both inside and outside the area. With English-speaking staff, parking facilities, and barrier-free design, the clinic provides a welcoming environment for parents with young children. Actively engaged in municipal health checkups and vaccinations, the clinic serves as a key pediatric healthcare hub supporting the health of local children.
