Obahara Dental Clinic, located in Suehirocho, Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture, is a dental clinic that opened in September 2022. Clinic Director Dr. Naoki Obahara graduated from Tsurumi University School of Dentistry and gained experience in difficult cases and advanced techniques at the dental and oral surgery department of a university hospital before opening this clinic to contribute to local healthcare. The clinic offers a wide range of treatments including cavity treatment, root canal treatment, periodontal treatment, preventive cleaning, and oral surgery. For treatment, they actively utilize advanced equipment such as dental CT, microscopes (up to 20x magnification), and intraoral cameras. A characteristic feature is their emphasis on informed consent, using captured images and videos to explain oral conditions to patients in an easy-to-understand manner. The clinic has established a system where doctors and staff work as a team to notice even subtle changes in each patient, and they focus on preventive dentistry so that patients can visit regularly before pain occurs. The facility features barrier-free design, creating an environment where wheelchairs and strollers can be used with peace of mind, and parking for 11 vehicles is provided. English service is available, making it easy to use for those who use languages other than Japanese on a daily basis. Reception is available until 18:00 on weekdays and 16:30 on Saturdays, with clinic hours set to be convenient for those who are busy with work or childcare.
