By car: 5 minutes from Hitachi-Chuo IC on the Joban Expressway. From National Route 6 toward Iwaki: pass the 'Kirigida' traffic signal, then turn right at the T-junction just before Hitachi City Hall. From National Route 6 toward Mito: pass Hitachi City Hall, then turn left at the next T-junction.
