Hirano Maternity Clinic, located in Yamamoto-Higashi, Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, is a specialized obstetrics and gynecology clinic. The clinic director, Dr. Takeshi Hirano, is a Japan Medical Specialty Board-certified OB/GYN specialist who graduated from Kanazawa University School of Medicine and trained at Kyoto University Hospital and the National Osaka Hospital (now Osaka Medical Center). The clinic's philosophy centers on "safe, secure, and satisfying natural childbirth." Dr. Nahoko Hirano, a female physician, is also on staff and holds certification as a Women's Healthcare Specialist from the Japan Society of Women's Medicine, providing comprehensive support for women's health. The clinic offers obstetric services including prenatal checkups, childbirth, and postpartum examinations, as well as gynecological care such as cervical cancer screening, HPV vaccination, contraception counseling, and oral contraceptive prescriptions. Additionally, neonatal care by pediatricians is available, and the clinic is the only facility in the Takarazuka, Itami, and Kawanishi areas capable of performing expanded newborn mass screening. Postpartum support is emphasized, with programs including breastfeeding outpatient visits, 2-week postpartum checkups, prenatal and postpartum classes, and postpartum recovery hospitalization.
