Iga Eye Clinic is a community-focused ophthalmology clinic located along Kurakuenguchi-dori, a 3-minute walk from Kurakuenguchi Station on the Hankyu Koyoen Line in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. The clinic's director, Dr. Toshiyuki Iga, graduated from Kobe University School of Medicine and, after working at university hospitals and as Chief of Ophthalmology at Ako Municipal Hospital, opened this clinic in 1996. Dr. Iga also serves as President of the Nishinomiya Medical Association and as a board member of the Hyogo Ophthalmologists Association, demonstrating his commitment to local healthcare. The clinic offers a wide range of services including general ophthalmology for conditions such as conjunctivitis, styes, and allergies, as well as same-day cataract surgery, glaucoma examination and treatment, dry eye treatment, eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, and eye screenings. In terms of equipment, the clinic is equipped with specialized diagnostic devices including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for 3D retinal imaging and Goldmann perimeter, which are used for early glaucoma detection and monitoring of age-related macular degeneration.
