Ito Mental Clinic is a psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine clinic located in the Old Foreign Settlement area of Chuo Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. The clinic director, Dr. Masayuki Ito, is a medical doctor who graduated from Osaka University Faculty of Medicine and completed his doctoral course at Fukushima Medical University Graduate School. With extensive clinical experience at university hospitals and psychiatric facilities, he opened the clinic in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture in 2008, where he treated approximately 3,900 patients. The clinic relocated to Kobe in 2022 and continues to provide care at its current location. The clinic prioritizes clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment approaches, along with thoughtful communication about prognosis. Recognizing that psychiatric symptoms often manifest as part of physical conditions, the clinic actively collaborates with other medical specialties. Appointments are required, with consultation hours from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. English consultation is available, and the clinic accepts credit cards and electronic payments. Barrier-free facilities are also provided.
