Koga ENT Clinic is an otorhinolaryngology clinic located on the 3rd floor of the Nayabashi Center Building, right in front of Nayabashi Station on the Kobe Municipal Subway. Opened in December 2017, the clinic is led by Dr. Norio Koga, who previously served as an outpatient department head and nasal group leader in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Kobe University. Dr. Koga holds a Doctor of Medicine degree for his research on the sense of smell and is a certified specialist of the Japan Otolaryngological Society as well as a hearing aid consultant. The clinic provides medical expense deduction certificates for hearing aid purchases and can recommend reliable hearing aid retailers. The clinic offers sublingual immunotherapy for cedar and dust mite allergies, and has introduced the ImmunoCAP Rapid allergy test, which provides same-day results using a small blood sample—a testing method that is easier for those uncomfortable with blood draws and young children. Operating hours are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with Saturday afternoons from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The clinic is closed on Wednesdays, Sundays, and holidays. Some Thursday and Saturday mornings feature a two-doctor system, and an online and telephone queue reservation system helps minimize wait times. With English-speaking support, parking, and barrier-free facilities, the clinic is accessible to patients of all ages.
