Kitakaze Dental Clinic, located in Minamiawa-cho, Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, is a dental practice that has served the local community for over 70 years since its founding by the previous generation. Director Michio Kitakaze refined his expertise in the Department of Prosthodontics at Osaka University School of Dentistry and gained clinical experience at Aizenbashi Hospital before taking over the practice. Upholding the founding philosophy of "sincerely engaging with and accompanying each patient in their care," the clinic continues to strive for even higher quality treatment. A particular focus is placed on preserving teeth through preventive care. A defining characteristic of the clinic is its long-term approach to supporting each patient's oral health—ensuring teeth are not lost to cavities or periodontal disease. Building trusting relationships with patients forms the very foundation of the practice alongside ongoing advancement in treatment techniques, with a system in place to continually support local residents so they can enjoy meals with their own teeth and smile through everyday life. Consultations are offered in two sessions—morning and afternoon—and English-speaking services are available, making the clinic accessible to a wide range of patients.
