Located in the coastal area of southern Himeji City, this hospital is an acute care medical institution specializing in the treatment of vascular and neoplastic lesions of the brain and head and neck region. Since its establishment in 1979, the hospital has primarily treated acute stroke patients and has established a rehabilitation system aimed at restoring residual function. In April 2003, the hospital began brain check-up services aimed at eliminating stroke risk factors and detecting asymptomatic lesions, and also introduced endovascular surgery for unruptured and ruptured cerebral aneurysms without open craniotomy. The hospital offers a wide range of specialized outpatient services, including gastroenterology, dementia, cardiology, respiratory medicine, neurology, and spine clinics, and is also equipped with general inpatient facilities and outpatient rehabilitation. A new hospital building was completed in Komatsu-cho in September 2015.
