Tatey Clinic, specializing in diabetes internal medicine, general internal medicine, and ophthalmology, is located in Harima-cho, Kako-gun, Hyogo Prefecture. The medical director completed doctoral studies in diabetes research at Kobe University Graduate School, followed by approximately four years as a senior postdoctoral fellow at the Washington University School of Medicine's Diabetes and Obesity Center in the United States. After returning to Japan, the director served as Chief of Department at Kakogawa Central Municipal Hospital, bringing extensive clinical and research experience. The facility is organized with the diabetes and general internal medicine department on the first floor and ophthalmology on the second floor, allowing patients to smoothly receive essential ophthalmic examinations within the same facility. The building is fully barrier-free with elevator access to the second floor, and includes an isolation room with direct access from outside for infection control. Consultation hours are 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on weekdays, with Saturday hours from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The clinic is closed on Sundays, public holidays, and during the New Year period. English-language consultations are available, and parking is provided. The clinic serves as a community primary care facility supporting the Akashi and Kakogawa regions.
