Masaki-Sakurai Clinic, located along National Route 312 in Nishitanbara, Fukusaki-cho, Kanzaki-gun, Hyogo Prefecture, is a community-based internal medicine clinic that opened in 1984 as Masaki Clinic and was renamed to its current name in 2023. He holds certifications as a General Internal Medicine Specialist, Gastroenterology Specialist and Supervisory Doctor, Endoscopy Specialist and Supervisory Doctor, and Liver Disease Specialist, with an extensive track record of conducting endoscopic skills training and lectures for physicians both domestically and internationally. The clinic focuses on general internal medicine as well as lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, liver diseases, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. In particular, endoscopic examinations including gastroscopy are the clinic's area of greatest expertise, with careful attention given to creating an open, relaxing environment where patients can undergo examinations comfortably. Additionally, the former director, Dr. Shigehiro Masaki, continues to provide medical care, offering examinations and second opinions drawing on his extensive experience primarily in lifestyle diseases. Clinic hours are from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, with Wednesday, Sunday, and national holidays as closed days.
