Opened in Oshima, Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture over 25 years ago, Medical Corporation Chen Clinic is a clinic specializing in internal medicine. Providing careful examination and treatment for patients ranging from children to the elderly, it also incorporates Kampo (Japanese herbal) medicine to address various symptoms. Since opening, the clinic has consistently maintained an examination style that prioritizes patients' concerns, regarding accurate history taking as the first step in diagnosis. After graduating from Osaka Medical School, the physician completed training in cardiovascular diseases at the Department of Internal Medicine III at Osaka Medical University Hospital, mastered radiography techniques in the Radiology Department at Hyogo Medical University Hospital, and underwent pediatric training at Ibaraki Saiseikai Hospital before opening the practice in 1979. Since then, the physician has continued studying Kampo medicine and obtained certification as a Specialist in Oriental Medicine. The clinic places particular emphasis on managing lifestyle-related diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia. Recognizing that these conditions often show few symptoms and treatment can be easily interrupted, they believe it is important to thoroughly understand patients' lifestyles and devote sufficient time to lifestyle guidance. Seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccines are provided for elderly patients as regular preventive injections. Various health screenings are conducted to strive for early detection of cancer and adult diseases. Electronic medical records have been introduced, and test data management and storage of past medical records are performed. The clinic has parking, barrier-free facilities, and English language services are available. Rapidly referring patients to appropriate hospitals when necessary is also considered an important role.
