Teraoka Eye Clinic, located immediately outside the east exit of Hanshin Electric Railway's Mukogawa Station in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, is an ophthalmology specialty clinic that opened in July 2019. The clinic director, Dr. Rikishin Teraoka, graduated from Peking University Health Science Center, completed his doctoral course in ophthalmology at Kobe University Graduate School, and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist by the Japanese Ophthalmological Society, having gained experience at multiple medical institutions including Kobe University Hospital, Hyogo Prefectural Children's Hospital, Kobe Seikyo Hospital, and Konan Hospital. The clinic offers general ophthalmology services including cataracts, glaucoma, various retinal and vitreous diseases, conjunctivitis, and dry eye, as well as pediatric ophthalmology for conditions such as hyperopia, myopia, and amblyopia. Prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses are also available, making the clinic well-equipped to address eye care needs across a wide range of age groups. Same-day cataract surgery is available, performed using new equipment and medical devices.
