Located near Ako Kaihin Park in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture, Oshima Eye Clinic is a specialized ophthalmology clinic that opened in December 2010. The clinic director, Dr. Tomitaro Oshima, is a board-certified ophthalmologist by the Japanese Ophthalmological Society and established the clinic after gaining experience at multiple medical institutions, including Kobe University's Department of Ophthalmology. In recent years, the clinic has begun low-dose atropine eye drop therapy to slow myopia progression and introduced the automated visual field perimeter 'iMo vifa,' which allows for examinations without covering one eye, enabling patients to remain relaxed during testing.
