Located on the 5th floor of Matsunouchi Building, approximately a 5-minute walk from JR Nishi-Akashi Station East Exit, Takamiya Kokoro Clinic is a psychiatric clinic. Since opening in August 2016, the clinic has focused on mental health care primarily for children, treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions including mood disorders (depression, depressive states), anxiety disorders (social anxiety, panic disorder, generalized anxiety), stress-related disorders (PTSD, adjustment disorder), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, and sleep disorders. The clinic also actively addresses pediatric-specific issues such as neurodevelopmental disorders (autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental learning disabilities), school refusal, and social withdrawal. A distinctive feature is its ongoing collaboration with educational institutions and child counseling organizations, conducting school visits and meetings with teachers. Additionally, the clinic offers prenatal and postnatal consultations and dementia examinations by specialists, supporting mental health across a wide age range from children to the elderly. Consultations are by appointment only, with morning hours Monday through Saturday, and afternoon hours on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and the first and third Thursdays.
