Doo-oh Sato Hospital, located in Tarumae, Tomakomai City, Hokkaido, is a psychiatry-focused hospital operated by the medical corporation Genyokai. Established in 1955 as the first psychiatric hospital in the Nittan district (Hidaka-Iburi area) within Tomakomai City, it relocated to its current Tarumae site in 1970 under its present name. Since then, this long-established institution has continued to contribute to the advancement of regional psychiatric medicine and welfare for over half a century. Beyond the treatment of psychiatric conditions, the hospital operates a Dementia Disease Medical Center that provides specialized support for dementia patients and their families, and addresses children's mental health through a dedicated child and adolescent outpatient clinic, offering care tailored to a wide range of life stages.
