Located on Nishi 19-jo in Obihiro City, Hokkaido, Takezawa Otolaryngology Clinic specializes in ear, nose, and throat disorders. Clinic Director Dr. Hiroyuki Takezawa is a board-certified otorhinolaryngologist certified by the Japan Otorhinolaryngological Society, and has also received 'Swallowing Counselor' certification from the Japan Dysphagia Society. The clinic was the first hearing aid fitting certified facility in the Tokachi-Obihiro region, recognized locally as a specialized center for hearing loss care. The clinic treats a wide range of conditions beyond general ENT disorders, including dizziness, sleep apnea, and swallowing disorders, and conducts various examinations such as audiometry, vestibular testing, and endoscopy. Day surgery procedures including myringotomy and mucosal cauterization for allergic rhinitis are available, with a referral system in place for cases requiring hospitalization. Academically, the clinic actively incorporates the latest medical knowledge, including research published in the international medical journal 'Medicine' on treating COVID-19 sequelae using Eustachian tube brushing therapy (EAT). Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-12:30 PM and 2:00-5:30 PM (afternoon closed on Thursdays), and Saturday mornings only. An online queue system is available via smartphone or computer.
