Located in Honcho, Nanae Town, Kameda District, Hokkaido, Haru Kodomo Clinic is a pediatric clinic. Since opening in 2009, the clinic has upheld the mission of 'Nurturing children, nurturing people, nurturing the community,' continuing to support the health of local children. Clinic Director Dr. Shigeharu Takayanagi graduated from Hokkaido University School of Medicine and is a certified specialist of the Japan Pediatric Society and the Japanese Society of Child Neurology, as well as a certified counselor of the Adler Psychological Association. The clinic provides comprehensive care ranging from common conditions such as colds and influenza, to allergic diseases like asthma and atopic dermatitis, psychosomatic issues including school refusal and tics, and consultations regarding developmental delays and group adaptation. A distinctive feature of the clinic is its emphasis on lifestyle therapy in addition to pharmacological treatment, including guidance on diet, exercise, and stress management. The facility is equipped with three examination rooms and a spacious treatment room, capable of performing blood and urine tests, electrocardiograms, and X-ray examinations. Services are available in English, and the clinic provides parking and barrier-free facilities, creating an accessible environment where patients from diverse backgrounds can receive care with confidence.
