Sugie Dental Clinic, located in the Eniwa Station Front Building in Eniwa City, has been providing community-based dental and pediatric dental care since its establishment in 1993. Clinic Director Toyofumi Sugie graduated from Hokkaido University School of Dental Medicine, where he specialized in pediatric dentistry for five years in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, obtaining certification as a pediatric dental specialist. After gaining experience in adult dentistry at clinics in Sapporo, he established his practice in Eniwa. The clinic places particular emphasis on a careful approach for children visiting the dentist for the first time. Through repeated practice to help children gradually become familiar with the sounds and sensations of dental equipment, the clinic's basic policy is to thoroughly alleviate anxiety and fear before proceeding with treatment. At initial consultations, the clinic prioritizes communication by listening carefully to patients and explaining treatment content in an understandable manner. The fact that all three staff members hold dental hygienist qualifications enables professional care across the entire team. With English-speaking staff and on-site parking, the clinic offers a convenient environment easily accessible from the surrounding area.
