Located in Bibai, Hokkaido, Aozora Psychosomatic Internal Medicine Clinic is a psychiatric and psychosomatic medicine clinic operated by the medical corporation Shinwa Kai. Since opening in August 2009, the clinic has continued to provide psychiatric and psychosomatic medical care to the Sorachi region. Treatment is conducted under a two-physician system led by Director Dr. Takahiro Ishimoto (M.D., Ph.D., Designated Mental Health Physician) and Vice Director Dr. Kyoko Inaba (M.D., Ph.D., Designated Mental Health Physician). In addition to outpatient care, the clinic actively offers psychiatric day care, home visit treatment, and visiting nursing, providing multidimensional support tailored to patients' living environments. The day care program aims to improve daily rhythms and support social reintegration through group activities, and patients are welcome to start attending even before establishing clear goals. Vice Director Dr. Inaba also sees female patients, providing consultations on mental health issues and stress specific to women. Both initial and follow-up consultations are by appointment to reduce waiting times.
