Located in Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Medical Corporation Kawanoin aims to provide specialized care for breast and thyroid diseases to the local community. The hospital director specializes in breast and thyroid conditions, utilizing CR digital mammography systems and digital ultrasound equipment with elastography capabilities for breast cancer diagnosis. We support cytology, ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy, and mammotome biopsy for detailed examinations, and also offer second opinions for breast cancer screening and thyroid treatment. For osteoporosis diagnosis, we employ DXA bone densitometry to measure bone density at the lumbar spine and femoral neck. Our facilities include transnasal endoscopy, digital X-ray, and digital ultrasound equipment to accommodate patients with surgical and internal medicine conditions (including lifestyle diseases). Examination results and diagnoses are clearly explained using large monitors. In addition to municipal breast cancer screenings for Takehara City and Osakikamijima Town, we also offer self-funded breast cancer screenings.
