The clinic is closed on Sundays and holidays, as well as during the year-end and New Year period from December 30 to January 4, and the Obon period from August 13 to 15, with planned closures throughout the year. The name "Gokura" originates from the "Gokura" warehouses used during the Edo period for collecting and storing rice tax, and has a historical background where the ancestors of the clinic's patients were entrusted with managing this location. During the Showa era, the parents operated a supermarket at this site, which was used by local residents as a prepared resource for emergencies. This concept of "preparedness" continues to be upheld at the present dental clinic.
