This ophthalmology clinic is located on the 5th floor of Takasaki Monterey, directly connected to Takasaki Station. Established in 2016 by the director specializing in high myopia following his tenure at the Department of Ophthalmology at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. The clinic features an open counter design that prioritizes communication with patients and a welcoming environment with a kids' space in the waiting room. In terms of examination equipment, the clinic has introduced an optical interferometry axial length measurement device, enabling easy axial length measurement for children and monitoring of myopia progression. The OCT device allows for simultaneous fundus photography and tomographic imaging, supporting detailed examinations for retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration, as well as glaucoma. The clinic is equipped with a comprehensive range of facilities including Humphrey automated perimetry for visual field testing of glaucoma and optic nerve diseases, green scan laser photocoagulation for retinal detachment and diabetic retinopathy treatment, YAG laser surgery for posterior capsule opacification, and autorefractor keratometer for refraction testing. The facility is barrier-free and provides services in English.
