Wakamiya Internal Medicine, located in Hiyoshicho, Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, is a clinic that has achieved complete barrier-free facilities as the first Heart Building Law-certified medical facility in the prefecture. Wheelchair users can smoothly access the facility without changing shoes, and nurses are available to assist when needed. With two female doctors and an all-female staff, the clinic maintains a bright, welcoming atmosphere and has served the community for 44 years. Clinic hours start at 8:00 AM, enabling visits before work or school. In addition to internal medicine, the clinic offers respiratory and gastroenterology services, treating respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal conditions (stomach/intestinal, liver), hypertension, diabetes, lifestyle diseases, cancer screening, and a wide range of other conditions. The clinic collaborates with Gunma University Hospital, Maebashi Red Cross Hospital, Gunma Chuo Hospital, Saiseikai Maebashi Hospital, Gunma Prefectural Cardiovascular Center, and Shibukawa Medical Center. Hours are daily Monday to Saturday 8:00-12:30, and Monday, Wednesday, Friday 15:00-16:30. The clinic also provides rubella antibody testing and fever outpatient services for cold symptoms.
