Located in Shin-Maebashi-cho, Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, Nakano Clinic boasts convenient transportation access: an 8-minute walk from JR Shin-Maebashi Station and 2 minutes from the Takigawa Bridge bus stop on the Gunma Chuo Bus line. Opened in 1996 by Clinic Director Hidehiko Nakano, who holds board certifications from the Japan Society of Internal Medicine, the Japanese Respiratory Society, and the Japan Society for Nicotine and Tobacco Research, the clinic specializes in general internal medicine with a focus on respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases. Medical services include hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, pollen allergy treatment, smoking cessation clinic, home oxygen therapy, simple sleep apnea testing, and COPD treatment. The clinic also conducts Maebashi City health checkups and screenings for lung, stomach, colorectal, and prostate cancer, osteoporosis, and hepatitis viruses. As a primary care physician, the clinic provides consultation and guidance on health checkup results, referrals to specialists, advice on insurance and welfare services, and medication management in coordination with other medical institutions, with dedicated response to inquiries during nights and holidays. Vaccination services include Maebashi City-commissioned vaccinations and optional vaccinations for overseas travel. Recognized as a model smoking cessation medical institution, the clinic received commendation from the Japan Medical and Dental Association for Smoking Research in 1998. Clinic hours are 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with closures on Thursday afternoons, Saturday afternoons, Sundays and holidays, August 13-16, and December 29 to January 3.
