Arai Clinic, located in Takatomi, Yamagata City, Gifu Prefecture, is a medical facility established in 2001, specializing in Internal Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Allergy, and Cardiology. Since opening, the clinic has served over 21,000 new patients and approximately 500,000 follow-up patients. The clinic focuses on home oxygen therapy for cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, preventive treatment for allergic diseases, lifestyle disease treatment including diabetes, vaccinations such as pneumococcal and pediatric vaccines, and preventive treatment for diseases primarily affecting the elderly. Smoking cessation clinics, pulse wave measurements, nutritional guidance, and sleep apnea syndrome screening tests are also available. The clinic provides services in English and Korean, and is equipped with parking and barrier-free facilities. Home visit and home medical services are offered within a 30-minute drive from the clinic. Since May 2023, the clinic has maintained the same medical system even after COVID-19 was reclassified as a Category 5 infectious disease, with fever consultations conducted outside the clinic.
