Located on the 4th floor of Crystal Plaza Tajimi in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, Tajimi Iwase Ophthalmology Clinic provides easy access with parking and barrier-free facilities. English language services are available. The director holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and is a board-certified ophthalmologist by the Japan Ophthalmological Society. After graduating from Gifu University Faculty of Medicine and serving as Chief of Ophthalmology and Vice Director at Tajimi Citizens Hospital, the director has led the clinic since 2009. With high-level expertise in ophthalmology, particularly in glaucoma, the director has served as a visiting professor at universities in Japan and abroad, holds honorary membership in the Japan Glaucoma Society, and serves as an officer in international academic societies. In addition to general ophthalmology, the clinic offers specialized glaucoma and vision care clinics, working to improve quality of life for patients with low vision or visual field loss. The clinic handles outpatient surgery, minor surgery, and laser treatments, and refers patients to appropriate hospitals or specialists when systemic management or hospitalization is required. Appointments are scheduled by time slots, and reception opens 30 minutes before clinic hours.
