English language services are available. The director holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and is a board-certified ophthalmologist by the Japan Ophthalmological Society. After graduating from Gifu University Faculty of Medicine and serving as Chief of Ophthalmology and Vice Director at Tajimi Citizens Hospital, the director has led the clinic since 2009. With high-level expertise in ophthalmology, particularly in glaucoma, the director has served as a visiting professor at universities in Japan and abroad, holds honorary membership in the Japan Glaucoma Society, and serves as an officer in international academic societies.
