Okada Eye Clinic is a community-based ophthalmology clinic conveniently located in Higashiyocho, Kasamatsu-cho, Hashima-gun, Gifu Prefecture, just a 2-minute walk from Meitetsu Kasamatsu Station. The clinic has been serving the local community for over 50 years since the current director's father's era, building a long-standing reputation as a cornerstone of ophthalmic care in the region. Currently under the direction of Dr. Kazumasa Okada, the clinic continues to pursue higher standards of care with an eye toward its 100th anniversary. Services cover a wide range of conditions including general ophthalmology, cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, floaters, macular diseases, and vitreoretinal disorders, as well as prescription of eyeglasses and contact lenses, and specialized pediatric ophthalmology for amblyopia and strabismus. In recent years, the clinic has also introduced myopia progression control treatment for children using the low-concentration atropine eye drop "Lijexa Mini," enabling care for patients of all ages. English-language consultations are available, and the facility offers a parking lot and barrier-free access, ensuring a comfortable environment for a diverse range of patients. Consultations are held on weekday and Saturday mornings, with additional afternoon hours on weekdays. The clinic is closed on Thursdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
