Sogai Zaitaku Iryo Clinic is located in Ginan-cho, Hashima District, Gifu Prefecture, and is an internal medicine clinic established in 2009 by Medical Corporation Kagayaki as Gifu Prefecture's first specialized clinic for home medical care. In addition to doctors and nurses, multidisciplinary staff including music therapists, registered dietitians, and dental hygienists are engaged in home medical care, serving a wide age range from infants to centenarians. The clinic has established a 24-hour, 365-day team response system, ensuring rapid response during emergencies regardless of day or time. In addition to living support through meals, swallowing function training, and nutritional guidance, care using music is also provided by staff with music therapist qualifications. The clinic values the wishes and daily lives of patients and their families, functioning as a hub supporting community-based home medical care. In 2019, their initiatives at the community exchange space "Kagayaki Lodge" were recognized, receiving the Gold Award in the Regional and Community Development category of the Good Design Award. English language support, parking, and barrier-free accessibility are available, creating an environment where patients can utilize the services with peace of mind.
