Miura Internal Medicine Clinic, located in Haneishi, Nihommatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, is a community-based clinic specializing in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Founded in 1991 by the previous director, the clinic is now led by the second-generation director Dr. Masaaki Miura, continuing its role as the town's primary care physician serving the local community. After graduating from Kanazawa Medical University and specializing in gastroenterology at a university hospital in Tokyo, Dr. Miura returned to his hometown of Nihommatsu in 2017 to establish the practice. The clinic treats a wide range of conditions, from common symptoms such as colds and fever to lifestyle-related diseases including hypertension and diabetes, with specialized care for digestive symptoms including stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, and bowel irregularities. The clinic provides endoscopic examinations (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) and abdominal ultrasound, and makes referrals to appropriate medical facilities when specialized treatment is required. Additionally, the clinic offers home visits for patients with difficulty visiting the clinic and provides health checkups and various vaccinations. The facility features parking on both the north and south sides, barrier-free access, and other amenities to ensure a convenient environment for patients.
