Ono Clinic, located in the mountainous area of Yotsukura Town in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, is an internal medicine clinic that opened in June 2004. At the time of its establishment, the Ono district had already become an area without a doctor and had lost public transportation services. The clinic was founded to serve as a family doctor for local residents under these circumstances. Guided by the philosophy of "listening to patients' concerns and consultations as a community doctor," the clinic emphasizes a collaborative approach where diagnosis and treatment are considered together with the patient, rather than providing standardized medical care. The clinic's characteristic is providing individualized care tailored to each patient's situation. The clinic is open three days a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with reception hours from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM. Home visits are also available for patients who have difficulty traveling to the clinic. English support is available, making it an accessible environment for patients who do not speak Japanese. The clinic also has parking facilities, accommodating those who visit by car in this area with limited public transportation. Established to fill the gap in regional healthcare, this clinic has continued to provide community-based medical care for many years.
